The thing is they will always complain about games because they think of them as gold and shit and think the way they think is how it should have ended. They don’t get that’s not how it works. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it less real

It just seems like wasted energy to me. Of course people want certain thing to end certain ways, I get that, we all do. I would love to see a game where the ending is 100% shaped by my choices, but that would take an impossible amount of work from the devs. And even then, people would still complain. 

Choices in games are great for immersion and a fun, interesting way to explore the story, but people need to realise that of course it’s going to be limited.

it’s honestly not that hard to go “i didn’t agree with that ending“ while still enjoying the rest of the story.
